Lectures

Having been educated as a teacher, speaking in front of people is a natural capability for me. I have spoken to numerous groups over the years, from small intimate in-services to large arenas full of teenagers. I come from a long line of evangelistic ministers and have learned to use their techniques of crowd attention to convey the message of my talk. I also incorporate humor into whatever topic I am addressing and tell stories that relate to the information. My experience is that people remember stories better than facts and if I can weave the facts into a good story then there is a higher chance of information retention.

Here is a list of some of the topics that I have presented:
  1. Expert Witness Testimony and Projecting the Prosthetic Needs of the Amputee
  2. The Amputee Athlete
  3. “Living with a Below Knee Amputation” discussion of my book
  4. Returning Amputees to Employment
  5. Amputee Survival Kit
  6. Project Hope, Belize- Bringing Prosthetics to Central America
  7. The Capabilities of Amputees
  8. The Business of Prosthetics
  9. The Shower Prosthesis and Other Limbs
My fee for lecturing is $500/hour of lecture plus expenses for travel. Please contact me to make arrangements.
